Quaint, cozy hayloft (Fienile) in the midst of the peaceful rolling green hills of the world-famous Chianti Classico region. The Impruneta Fienile is an ideal place to spend a week or more of pure relaxation far from the noise and confusion of the big cities.
Elegantly and newly restored, the building has all the modern comforts and amenities to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The restructuring has been done in the traditional Tuscan style, maintaining the beauty of the local country homes, with typical materials of the area such as terracotta floors and chestnut wood beams in full view on the ceiling.
The hayloft can accomodate up to 4 guests; there is an elevated loft bedroom that can sleep two people and a doube hide-away-bed in the downstairs living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove,oven and dishwasher. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. The little garden just outside the living room has a barbecue area with tables, chairs and a gazebo. Here one can prepare delicious meals al fresco, maybe grilling a good steak and sipping a bottle of excellent Chianti Classico wine. Internet and Wi-Fi connection is installed both indoors and out.
The building is located in the area known as Chianti Classico, in the Township of San Casciano Val di Pesa, not far from the village of Impruneta. Impruneta is historically famous for its splendid products made in Terracotta, from tiles, pots, sculptures to vases of all sorts. The position is ideal for taking short day-trips to many beautiful sites in Tuscany: 20 minutes by car to Florence; 40 minutes to Siena; 30 minutes to San Gimignano and Monteriggioni and just over an hour to Pisa. Closer by, one can visit lovely little villages and hamlets such as Greve, Castellina, Radda...all famous for, among other things, very good wine and genuinely good food. Our Fienile is definitely an ideal place to spend a week or more of pure relaxation far from the noise and confusion of the big cities.
