Casa La Selva, built at the end of 1700, is a wholly stone handmade property that fully reflects the typical Tuscan farmhouses in the Garfagnana area.
At the entrance of the house, we find a large living room with mosaic stone floor and an oak beamed ceiling where there is also a living area with sofas and satellite TV. Next to the living room there is a fully equipped kitchen built in masonry and with beautiful ceramic decorations handmade by local craftmen.
In the corner of this cosy kitchen there is also a table with chairs that suits comfortably for 7 people. The kitchen is equipped with a large stove, oven and all appliances and kitchenware.
Always on the same floor on the opposite side of the kitchen, there is a small storage closet and a full bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi shower.
In the garden there is a comfortable gazebo, made entirely of solid wood, where you can relax and enjoy your meal whilst admiring the wonderful array of multi coloured roses. In this area there is also a stone built BBQ in order to allow the guests to prepare succulent grilled meat and fish.
On the upper floor of the house, fully paved in oak, there are three bedrooms:
A very large master bedroom with, where, upon request, it is possible to add an additional single bed and a baby cot; another double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds. On the same floor there is an elegant bathroom equipped with bathtub tiled in baroque style.
In the back of the house there is the laundry room.
A very nice purposely built stone steps, located on the side of the house, leads you to the terraced swimming pool. This is the perfect place to admire the beautiful surrounding landscape, cool off in the comfortable swimming pool or sunbathing using the provided sun beds. In the terrace there is also a very useful mini bar to always have on hand fresh drinks.
Casa La Selva allows you to enjoy your stay in total privacy. However, the staff of the property, who live in a nearby dependence, will be available, on request, in order to satisfy any needs and requirements.
