Villa Il Palazzo stands in the centre of a natural reserve in the proximity of the enchanting medieval town of Pienza, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia region. This property is an indipendent farmhouse with private pool that can comfortably accommodate up to 22 persons.
It consists of a main buiding, which is divided in 4 apartments with 8 bedrooms and an annex that provides other 3 bedrooms.
The property has been lately completely renewed and refurbished with the tipical tuscan taste. It was built in the thirties by the Marquis Origo replacing an old inn where the Eminences used to rest when they were going through the nearby Francigena road. The owners of the property produce from their vineyards a wonderful red DOC Orcia wine which is available for a taste for all the guests. During the stay would be also possible to take a look at the breeding of the Chianina cow and at the poultry (chicken, ducks and rabbits).

Apartment Pio II: Main Buidling - ground floor, provides a kitchen with oven, a small living room, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom (sleeps 2).
Apartment Pio III: Main Building - first floor, composed of a kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a large living room with fireplace, two bathrooms and three double bedrooms (sleeps 6).
Apartment Pio IV: Main Building - first floor, composed of a kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a large living room with fireplace, two bathrooms and two double bedrooms (sleeps 4)
Apartment Bellarmino: Main Building - ground floor, composed of kitchen with oven, a living room with fireplace, two bathrooms and two double bedrooms. This apartment is suitable and equipped for disabled people.
In the outbuilding next to the house there are two double bedrooms with bathroom and air conditioning and another apartment named Pio VI on the ground floor, which is composed of a living room with kitchenette equipped with dishwasher and microwave, a sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Please note that the property it is considered less appropriate for couples with small children as the garden has no fence and, even if the road is not particularly busy, the house is located near a road.
