From the original vault entry arch you come into the main courtyard in terracotta and pietra serena decorated with large ancient vases (made in the famous terracotta ovens of Impruneta) and lemon trees. From here, you can enjoy a wide panoramic view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
The villa, built in stone and covered in ochre-colored plaster, has two floors allowing a 360° view of the landscape.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the cool water of the pool located just a few steps from the main garden, surrounded by the green vegetation of the garden and centuries-old grove of olive trees.
The vegetation surrounding it renders the pool completely private while its position on the hillside allows guests to enjoy an enchanting view of the valley.
The pool was created following Eco-compatible principles: no PVC or plastic, just plaster in golden sand color; no chlorine to sterilize the water but a modern system that uses marine salt to keep it clean.
The Villa consists of 2 adjoining apartments (one with 2 bedrooms and the other with 3 bedrooms) and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.
The main apartment is divided as follows:
On the ground floor, you’ll find the spacious, elegant sitting room with the large antique family stem hanging over the enormous original fireplace.
On the same floor and with direct access through a large arch window in the kitchen, guests will be able to relax and enjoy outdoors dining in the covered loggia. Perfect for lunches even in the tepid spring and autumn days.
An impressive staircase brings you to the first floor where one will find the master bedroom with windows on every side, allowing you to enjoy the view of the Chianti hillside directly from your bedroom.
A second double bedroom and spacious bathroom, with exposed pietra serena stone and large triangular bathtub, complete the apartment.
The smaller bedrooms apartment has an intimate and elegant sitting room on the ground floor facing a colorful maiolica-decorated fireplace.
On the same floor, guests will find a small guest bathroom and a large kitchen with modern, glass covered cupboards, artisan ceramics and oriental antiques that overlooks the large terrace. Here, a large table in stone with wrought-iron chairs offers the perfect setting for summer meals while guests enjoy the enchanting view of the Tuscan countryside.
On the first floor, the apartment has a master bedroom with its own private bathroom with its large bathtub as well as a second bedroom with two twin beds and its own bathroom.
An inviting open space is reached on the second level where you'll find a French bed and wraparound seating along the walls. This leads into a small studio with writing desk where guests can enjoy a quiet moment reading or chatting.
A short ramp leads into the enchanting tower room: three arched windows offer a special panoramic view over the entire surrounding valley with its beautiful vineyards. A two-person sofa bed permits a lucky pair of your group to enjoy a special stay: a tower with a spectacular view!
